Henty acquisition
Catalyst settled the Henty acquisition in January 2021, entering gold production partway through the financial year.
Five annual reporting years to 30 June 2025, in Australian dollars. Monetary tables are in A$000; mine physicals use the stated tonnes, ounces, grades and A$/oz. FY2025 discontinued-operations presentation creates a visible comparison break.
Reading the tables: 0 (nil) is a supported zero. Other text distinguishes an amount included in another line, a non-applicable item, a separately unavailable component and an unresolved value. These are not interchangeable. Period-specific detail is labelled; complete year-by-year detail remains available.

Catalyst entered gold production with Henty in January 2021, then acquired the Plutonic business and Vango in FY2023. Plutonic became the main operating centre in FY2024. The May 2025 Henty disposal shifted the reported revenue and earnings boundary; FY2025 continuing and discontinued results are therefore separated below.
The group financed this transition with equity issues, borrowings and operating cash. FY2023 had a A$44.028m working-capital deficit; by FY2025 operating cash and the A$150m placement supported a larger cash balance. The statutory FY2025 balance sheet still includes hire-purchase borrowings, provisions and tax payable.
Catalyst settled the Henty acquisition in January 2021, entering gold production partway through the financial year.
Henty supplied a full year of mining activity while exploration continued.
The Superior Gold/Plutonic and Vango transactions enlarged the group and created a discontinuity in assets, debt and share count.
Plutonic produced 84,823 oz in its first full financial year under Catalyst, alongside a stronger operating cash result.
Catalyst sold Henty in May 2025 and completed a A$150m placement; the annual statements separately show continuing and discontinued results.
Catalyst moved from a Henty-led result to a Plutonic-led result. The May 2025 Henty disposal changed the continuing-operations boundary: use the recast two-year table for a direct FY2024–FY2025 comparison.

The FY2025 annual report gives FY2024 continuing revenue A$241.951m and continuing profit after tax A$18.665m on the recast basis. Do not read the original FY2024 revenue A$317.014m as a like-for-like continuing comparator.
FY2024 Directors’ Report cites FY2023 comparative after-tax loss of A$15.628m after purchase price allocation finalisation, versus the FY2023 original A$15.599m displayed here; the two are not silently merged.

The balance sheet grew through the acquisitions and subsequent development. FY2025 cash and equity rose, while current legal-settlement provision and income tax payable became material. Statutory hire-purchase borrowing remained despite the issuer’s corporate “debt free” description.

Borrowings include equipment hire purchase. FY2025 management used “debt free” for the corporate funding position, while the statutory balance sheet still records A$14.495m of borrowings.
FY2023 and FY2024 loan categories differ; the component rows retain their source labels.
FY2022 current and total borrowings use the original FY2022 balance-sheet amount A$1,509,281, displayed as A$1,509.281 thousand. The FY2023 comparative rounds both to A$1,509 thousand and shows no non-current hire-purchase balance.
FY2021's A$802,595 current interest-bearing liability was insurance premium funding at 2.7%, repayable by October 2021 (R000115). The original statement did not split this amount into the later loan and hire-purchase categories. FY2023's Other Loans includes insurance premium funding (R001856), but that category is not backcast; FY2021 non-current interest-bearing borrowings were nil and non-current lease liabilities were separate.

Cash payments are period flows, not closing PP&E, exploration or mine development assets.
FY2024 PP&E investing payments differ between the FY2024 original statement and the FY2025 comparative (A$13.168m versus A$30.730m). The table retains the FY2024 original and flags this classification change; do not calculate a like-for-like PP&E cash trend across that break.
The FY2025 investing line combines exploration/evaluation and acquisition payments. It must not be presented as pure exploration capital.
Acquisition-related amounts change direction and meaning: FY2021–FY2022 are purchase payments, while FY2023 is positive net cash acquired with subsidiaries. The FY2025 combined exploration/acquisition payment remains in its own line.
The FY2022 restated FY2021 comparative identifies a A$3m security-deposit outflow associated with a cash reclassification. FY2021 investing lines and net cash shown here retain the original FY2021 statement basis; the restated payment is identified without adding it to that original-basis subtotal.
FY2025 acquisition payments are included in the single exploration/evaluation-and-acquisition investing outflow (R004278); the separate acquisition row identifies that combined presentation without repeating its value.

Plutonic operated throughout FY2024–FY2025 under Catalyst ownership. Henty FY2021 began with the January acquisition and FY2025 ended with the May disposal, so these are unequal ownership periods.
AISC is an issuer-disclosed non-IFRS operating measure, not the statutory cost-of-sales line. Gold price is per ounce sold.
FY2023 Plutonic ownership began on 29 June 2023 (R001733). FY2023 claims identify the selected production, sales, realised price and AISC values as Henty's (R001730, R001731); no separate Plutonic ownership-period scalar is resolved in the selected evidence. FY2021 Henty gold sold is not available after the final parsed-body check; FY2022 sales are not assigned to FY2021.
FY2021 source wording differs: the general operating review reports revenue of $28.5 million and 5 months 12 days; the Henty subsection reports $28.3 million and 5 months 11 days. The consolidated statement reports revenue from continuing operations of A$28,508,849. Both narrative figures are preserved as source wording; no unexplained adjustment between them or sales-volume calculation is asserted.

The source references in this report identify the public disclosures used and should be read with the associated section, table and reporting-period qualifications. This report paraphrases, organises and compares those disclosures for descriptive and educational purposes rather than reproducing source text.

This report uses AI actively and extensively for evidence extraction, comparison, organisation, calculation checks, drafting, translation planning and presentation. Material claims received reasonable editorial review against cited public sources; this was not an audit, assurance engagement or independent verification. Limitations in public sources, AI systems and review may leave errors, omissions, inconsistencies or translation, classification and interpretation errors.
Any AI-generated visual accompanying this report must carry an adjacent, visible AI-generated label or caption. Such visuals are illustrative rather than source evidence and do not replace the cited annual-report text, table or section source.
